I Am Currently...

visiting the zoo and the wildlife sanctuary (the pics in this post were from there). Both places were free of people, but full of active animals, that were easy to spot, since there are no leaves on the trees and everything was white, with snow. It was pretty ideal.

working on the cookbook. Always.

creating messes in the kitchen, chaos in the living room with my girls, and stress for Steve. The usual.

loving Clarissa and Veronica. Loving this doorway castle. We're going to make one for C and V. Loving the way Vanessa and John have turned the loss of their son, Charlie, into a beautiful gift for other children. In addition to raising money, tons of people have donated books to their own, local libraries, in Charlie's name. It's just beautiful. Loving pagach. The Slovaks know what they're doing, when it comes to carbo-loading. If you're not familiar, it's bread, stuffed with mashed potatoes and cabbage. So yummy, and I'll have a recipe for you on Monday.

missing my college pals, trips to the park, having babies around (though I sure do love my big girls), having a dog, and galavanting on weekends.
