Small Style the Vegan Mother Hubbard Way

I see lots of different bloggers do "small style" posts in which they post pictures of the cute outfits they put on their kids (usually their daughters). My version of small style is all about the style choices my girls make. Whenever possible, I let Clarissa and Veronica pick out their own clothes. Their outfits are usually surprisingly matched. Here are a couple examples of ensembles put together by my littles:

The sweater, from Crazy 8, was once a dress, but is now just a sweater. It's one of Veronica's favorites. If it's in the closet, she will almost always pick it. The pants were second hand from ebay. I picked out the long sleeve undershirt to keep her warm.

Clarissa is a fan of frilly tops and soft pants. Her top was also a dress once upon a time. It was a gift and I'm not certain of the brand. The pants are from Shopko. Again, I picked out the undershirt.

Veronica went all out with her clothing choices today. My mom made the pants, which she also picked out to wear earlier this week. The sweater was handmade. Auntie Sarah got it for the girls at a famers market in Door County, WI. The hat is Steve's. It has Oscar the Grouch's face on the front, but Veronica put it on a little funny.

Clarissa went the soft, comfy route today. Again with the fleece pants from Shopko, in blue this time.  I think the top is from Kohl's. It's like a hoody-tunic hybrid. There are little flowers on the front, which she has been pulling on all day.

And that, my friends, is how 20 month olds dress when you give them free reign over their wardrobe.
